Project Initiation and Design

This phase lays the groundwork for successful solar development, focusing on pre-construction activities such as permitting, EPC agreements, subscription management, or power purchase agreement discussions.

Key tasks include issuing the Notice to Proceed, reviewing management agreements, the power purchase agreement or coordinating energy subscribers in a community solar transaction.

Construction (PTO to COD)

Focused on the physical build-out and activation of the solar asset, this phase includes achieving all the milestones to reach Permission to Operate (PTO) including design, engineering, permits, Power Purchase Agreement, and interconnection/electrification to achieve Commercial Operation Date (COD).

It also encompasses performance testing and inspections ensuring the system meets technical specifications and qualifies for available state incentives.

Operations and Management

Reviewing O&M contracts and conducting annual vendor meetings ensures that long-term performance and reliability are maintained through strategic partnerships.

Reporting and Compliance

This phase ensures transparency and accountability through rigorous financial and production reporting.

Key activities include preparing quarterly financials for IRS compliance, generating monthly production reports, and submitting bank reporting packages. These efforts support investor confidence and regulatory alignment.

Tax and Financial Oversight

Dedicated to tax strategy and compliance, this phase includes preparing partnership tax returns, managing property tax obligations, and exploring abatement opportunities.

These activities help optimize financial outcomes while maintaining full regulatory adherence.

Partner Engagement and Market Strategy

This final phase focuses on strategic communication and market positioning. It includes Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) market research, quarterly partner calls, and coordination with property entities.

These efforts support informed decision-making, investor engagement, and alignment with broader market trends.
